Armenian Prime Minister meets with China’s new ambassador

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has held a meeting with the new ambassador of China to Armenia Li Xinwei.
PM Pashinyan congratulated Li Xinwei on taking office and wished him success for the benefit of the further development and enhancement of the relationship between Armenia and China, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a readout.
Pashinyan expressed hope that during Ambassador Xinwei’s tenure the bilateral ties will record concrete results.
The Ambassador thanked for the warm reception and underscored that he will make every effort to boost bilateral partnership and develop trade-economic, cultural ties.
The sides attached importance to the implementation of joint projects in the economy and tourism, including increasing the number of direct flights. Organizing high-level mutual visits and cooperation in international organizations were also discussed.
Views were exchanged around the Armenian government’s Crossroads of Peace project and its principles.
