20,770 people granted Armenian citizenship in 2024

20,770 persons were granted Armenian citizenship in 2024 by presidential decrees, an official told lawmakers on Friday.

The number of revoked citizenships in the same period was 3,746, according to Khachatur Poghosyan, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the President’s Office.

He presented the data during a parliamentary committee hearing on the budget report.
