PM Pashinyan meets Armenian veterans of World War II

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting with WWII veterans Khachik Hovakimyan and Volodya Gspoyan in Moscow.
The two WWII veterans traveled from Armenia to the Russian capital to attend the WWII Victory Day parade.
During the conversation, the Prime Minister congratulated the veterans on Victory Day and wished them robust health, his office said in a press release.
9 May 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the victory in WWII, also referred to as the Great Patriotic War in post-Soviet countries.
600,000 Armenians fought in various theaters during WWII and contributed to the victory of the Allies.
