Member of the European Parliament Nathalie Loiseau from France criticized EU’s top diplomat Kaja Kallas for planning to visit Azerbaijan.
The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy / Vice-President of the European Commission is expected to travel to Azerbaijan on April 25.
In a post on X, the MEP said going to ‘autocracy’ Azerbaijan without traveling to Armenia in the same trip is a mistake.
“Dear Kaja Kallas, going to an autocracy which keeps on threatening its neighbor without going to Armenia in the same trio [sic] is a mistake. Baku targets an EU member state [France] with malign interference and sides with Russia, when democratic Armenia looks towards Europe,” the MEP said.
Dear @kajakallas, going to an autocracy which keeps on threatening its neighbor without going to 🇦🇲 in the same trio is a mistake. Baku targets an 🇪🇺member state with malign interference and sides with 🇷🇺 , when democratic 🇦🇲 looks towards Europe. https://t.co/QuyP07Vzl7
